The Ruby Lily Spa opened in May 2021 at 770 Newtown-Yardley Road, Suite 214, in Newtown. It serves one client per appointment time, so every visit is a one-on-one session rather than a shared booking.

The spa was founded by Teena Parrillo, its owner, who had built a clientele over many years before opening it. Services are personalized to each client. The salon takes a gentle approach to all skin care and recommends a daily routine of gentle cleansing, moisturizer and SPF, including on the body. New clients complete an intake form, and the cancellation policy is listed on the site.

The menu is organized into eight groups. Skin care centers on facials from three product lines: Hale & Hush, Osmosis and Kaia Skin. LED light therapy can be booked alone or added to a facial. Nail services range from basic manicures and pedicures to gel polish, cat eye and chrome finishes, and aromatherapy versions. Brow and lash services cover waxing, tinting and combination packages, and facial waxing runs from the lower lip to the full face. Men's services include manicures, pedicures, facials, back facials and brow and ear waxing.

A dedicated oncology menu offers modified manicures, pedicures and facials for clients in cancer treatment or recovery. Each step can be adjusted to what the client is comfortable with. Clients in active chemotherapy or radiation must provide a note from their oncologist confirming that a service is safe, and clients in recovery or remission are asked to check with their oncologist before booking.

Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, and the spa is closed on Mondays. Gift cards can be paid for in cash or by Zelle; debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo and PayPal are not accepted. Cards take three business days to prepare and are emailed or picked up in person. They expire on the date printed on the card, and the recipient receives a reminder 30 days ahead. A purchaser can request a full refund in writing if the recipient cannot use the card during its valid dates.

Services are personalized to each client, with a gentle approach to all skin care. Daily gentle cleansing, moisturizer and SPF are recommended, including on the body.
