Shanda and Kyle Vandepol bought the salon in March 2023. The current salon space was completed in August 2017. After taking over, Shanda opened Ophelia's Boutique, a clothing shop, in part of the suite, at Suite B of the same address.

The owners aim for a warm, attractive space for both clients and stylists. The salon says it puts weight on customer service and on continuing education for its staff, and it lists performance bonuses, flexible scheduling, commission, advanced training, 401k matching and health and dental insurance options among its staff benefits. The salon describes itself as voted the #1 Salon in Allendale six years in a row, and describes its stylists as among West Michigan's finest.

A visit typically starts with a thorough consultation and product recommendations before any service. Hair prices reflect a level 1 stylist, and the salon uses six stylist levels based on experience, goals and demand, so prices change with the stylist booked. Extra length, texture or thickness can carry an additional fee for hair and bridal services. Clients must give 48 hours notice to cancel; late cancellations count as no-shows and may be charged 50% of the scheduled service. Lash sets require a $50 deposit at booking, which goes toward the service fee and is non-refundable on short-notice changes. Clients moving from another lash location pay a $15 transfer fee that includes a 15-minute consultation. Waxing clients must be 18 or have a parent present. Facial plans are built by an esthetician and are typically done weekly or monthly.

The Men's Room is a men's services division inside the salon, offering haircuts, fades, edge-ups and line-ups. The salon describes it as a step above for cutting, fading and edge-ups. Signature offerings across the salon include the Rouge Signature Pedicure, Marma Detox Body Treatment, manual lymphatic massage, and Aveda-based treatments, and the salon sells Aveda and Surface products.

The salon emphasizes thorough consultations and product recommendations before services, and continuing education for its team. Facial treatments are planned by an esthetician for each client.
