The Revival Studio

The studio describes itself as a modern beauty space. It is co-owned by Ashley Arruda and Chloe Barton and is located at Suite A-11 in Kilburn Mills on West Rodney French Boulevard in New Bedford. Clients can book hair, nail, lash and beauty services under one roof.

Hair work covers custom color, including balayage and partial and full blonding with toner included, along with cuts and styles. Lash services are classic, hybrid and light volume extension sets fitted to the natural lash line. A personalized beauty consultation costs $25 and is credited toward a service booked afterward, and a separate $25 consultation covers hair extension length, volume and application options.

Nail work centers on detailed hand-drawn art, 3D designs and acrylic encapsulation, with the Revival Classic gel pedicure, the Lotus luxury pedicure, acrylic fills and full acrylic toes also offered. Beauty services include custom tooth gem sets, from single stones to full custom designs starting at $45, and teeth whitening sessions from 30 minutes at $65 to 90 minutes at $175.

Studio hours are Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, with the studio closed Sunday and Monday. Individual stylist availability sets the booking windows. Appointments must be canceled by phone, with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less notice or no-shows may be charged a fee of 35% of the booked appointment, and services that require a 50% deposit forfeit that deposit on a no-show instead. Clients may arrive up to 15 minutes late, after which the provider decides whether the appointment goes ahead, is rescheduled or is modified. A valid credit or debit card must be kept on file to book, and the booking provider, not the studio, stores card details securely.

Gift cards do not expire and can be redeemed for eligible services and retail products, though not for gratuities or other gift cards. They can be given or transferred to another person, and purchases are final. Bridal bookings require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit at submission, with the balance due at least one week before the wedding. A trial must be booked at least one month before the wedding date for the wedding contract to be confirmed. Services are final once performed, and any concern must be reported within 72 hours, with photos when applicable. Results and longevity vary and cannot be guaranteed.
