The Parlour Room has been owned by Tra since 2017. Tra has worked behind the chair for over 25 years, and the salon takes an intentional, respectful approach to every texture. The salon describes its goal as results that look and feel right and continue to suit the client as their hair grows.

A visit starts with a complimentary 30-minute consultation, which the salon encourages for new guests booking color, extensions or treatments. Cuts can be booked online, while color services and chemical treatments such as perms, relaxers and keratin treatments are booked by phone or through the salon. First-time guests pay a 75% deposit toward booked services, and the salon asks for 48 hours' notice to cancel, with shorter-notice cancellations and no-shows charged the full service total.

Services are grouped into cuts, coloring, extensions and corrections, makeup, styling, texture services and weddings. Coloring ranges from glazes and root touch-ups to partial foils, painting and full-head color removal. Texture services include perms, relaxers, Keratin Complex smoothing treatments and Cezanne blowout and full treatments, which the salon notes suit same-day color appointments.

The salon also offers bridal packages with trial and wedding-day hair and makeup, in-salon bridal parties, and an on-location wedding team that travels to clients for an additional cost. All wedding services are reserved through the wedding coordinator by email or phone.
