The Parlor was founded in 2012 by Jenny Wicker and Stacie Patrone and moved to its current North Raleigh location at 7511 Mourning Dove Rd. in 2022. The salon describes itself as a luxury commission and booth-rent hair salon.

About

The team blends established hair artistry with newer techniques. Stylists work on commission, and booth renter Rebekah Koch works from the salon under her own name, Rebekah Does Hair.

Haircuts are offered for children, men and women, with signature cuts starting at $35. Color and blonding is a major part of the menu, from glazes and root touch-ups to foil work, fashion color and hand-painted blonding. Hair extensions, keratin smoothing treatments that the salon says last up to three months, and scalp treatments with massage paired with a blowout are also available. Updo styling is offered for events and bridal occasions, along with eyebrow and lip waxing.
