The first location opened on October 23, 2006. The owner describes the business model as somewhat different from other salons, and says the staff are central to it and that clients help keep it going as a small local business.

Appointments can be booked online for each location, or with the first available esthetician through the booking link. Clients may also ask for a specific esthetician and can change estheticians at any time. Prices may differ when booking with a Senior Esthetician. New clients provide a valid credit card to hold their first appointment, which is charged only for cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead or for no-shows. Clients are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, and late arrivals may need to reschedule or have services modified.

Brazilian services are scheduled by the anatomy being waxed rather than by gender identity. Some estheticians wax all anatomies and others do not, so clients should check when booking. Clients of all gender identities are welcome, and anyone unsure which Brazilian service to choose can contact the salon beforehand for confidential advice. Full body waxing, for women or men, is booked by phone, requires a deposit and uses large time blocks.

Hair should be at least 10 to 14 days long before a waxing appointment, and clients with shorter hair may be asked to reschedule. Missed hairs are cleaned up at no charge if reported within 48 hours. Only the client receiving service may be in the treatment room, except a parent or guardian of a minor being waxed. Clients who feel unwell with a cold, flu or similar symptoms are asked to reschedule.

Staff are treated as the heart of the business, and the team is described as working closely together as one group.
