Permanent makeup is the core of the business. Mina performs every permanent makeup service herself and mixes pigment for each client's skin tone, and the shape of an eyeliner is drawn and approved by the client before work begins. Clients must be 18 or older for permanent brows, lip blush and eyeliner. Anyone who is pregnant or nursing, diabetic, taking blood-thinning medication, or has had Botox or filler within the last 3 to 4 weeks is advised not to book permanent makeup. For lip and eyeliner visits, clients email a clear, unfiltered photo at least 24 hours ahead, and a free 10-minute online consultation is offered before booking. The studio says permanent makeup typically lasts one to three years, with skin type, skincare and sun exposure affecting how long it holds.
Lash extension full sets start at $129.99 and come in several styles, from classic and hybrid through light volume, volume cat eye, mega volume and wispy custom. Clients arrive with clean lashes, without mascara or eye makeup. Full sets normally last over five weeks, with refills every two to three weeks. Refills every two weeks are priced separately from refills at three weeks or more, and after-hours full sets and refills are also available. The studio sells lash accessories through its website.
Brow services include nano brows, a hair-by-hair technique done with a single fine needle on a machine rather than a blade. The studio does not offer microblading, but it can refresh or correct existing microblading. Numbing cream is used before and during brow appointments. Brow lamination, tinting and shaping are available, along with a temporary brow tint and shaping option for clients who want to try a fuller brow first. Threading is offered for brows, the upper lip and the full face.
The studio also teaches. Its courses for other artists include two-day classes in ombré, combo and nano brows, lip blush and eyeliner, and a four-day package covering brows, eyeliner and lips. Lash training includes a five-in-one course and one-on-one beginner and advanced lash extension sessions. Courses include a live model, a starter kit, hands-on practice, mentorship, a manual and 24-hour support. Spanish is spoken, and clients can contact the studio in Spanish by text, phone or email.
