The Lone Stylist is operated solely by stylist Katy Keilers out of Suite 1 at Sola Salon Suites on US 290 Frontage Road in Cypress, Texas. The business is open Tuesday and Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

About

Blonding services include a customized gloss, shampoo, a conditioning scalp massage, a blow-dry and a heat style of the client's choice. Color services follow the same finishing steps. Full Color is typically maintained every six to eight weeks, and women's haircuts include the cut, shampoo, scalp massage, conditioning, blow-dry and style, with maintenance suggested every ten to twelve weeks.

Extensions are hand-tied Dream Catcher extensions. An in-person consultation is required before install so the stylist can color match and talk through price, upkeep and goals. Hair bought from the salon must be purchased at least seven to ten days ahead of the install. Clients may also bring hair from another source, though the stylist may decline installation if the hair is not a good fit. Extension hair is human hair that can be heat styled and treated like natural hair, and it is not refunded. Extensions can be moved up every four to six weeks and should last up to a year with proper care. Trims are not included with the extension service.

Appointments include complimentary drinks, snacks and wifi. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice or may be charged 50% of the scheduled service. Clients more than 15 minutes late may or may not be seen and may lose some services. Children should stay home unless they have an appointment, and must be able to keep themselves occupied if brought along. Clients can pay by major credit card, Zelle, Apple Pay or cash, with exact change preferred. Concerns about a result should be raised within 7 days so the stylist can adjust the hair where possible, and refunds are only considered in extreme cases at the stylist's discretion.

Each client's plan is built during a consultation before the first service begins, and the stylist starts only once the client agrees with it.
