The Lon Next Door Salon & Spa

The name grew out of a family story about the founder's young daughter, who once said salon as lon, and the idea for the business took shape while Betsy was working at Maier & Werner in late 2021.

The salon describes its focus as healing and caring for the client, and its feel as cozy and friendly, a neighborhood spot where clients can relax and be themselves. It states that everyone is welcome regardless of age, race, size, or gender.

Services cover hair, scalp health, manicures and pedicures, and private events. A consultation is offered for color services and for helping choose the right treatment. Gift cards are sold, and memberships are available for saving on services.

Booking is done online, by phone, or by text. A card on file is needed to reserve an appointment, and some services may require a deposit shown at booking. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours notice, late cancellations carry a fee, and no-shows are charged the full service cost. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule. Some services have age requirements, and guests with questions are asked to get in touch.
