Locs can be established with several techniques because hair types vary, and the menu includes microlock establishment, microlock extensions and sisterlock installation. Maintenance options range from traditional retwists and aloe vera interlocking to microlock and sisterlock upkeep, with a microlock maintenance visit that adds scalp treatments aimed at preventing thinning.

Scalp and hair care sits alongside the loc work, with warm mint scalp massage, scalp detoxification, scalp exfoliation, loc detoxification, steam, protein and warm oil treatments, and loc rehabilitation. There is also a monthly steam and wash membership at $25. For clients who want instruction, the salon offers a Microlock Essentials Course priced at $3,100.

The salon is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, which gives weekday daytime and evening options. Braids, updos, twists and crochet styles are available for people who want styling between loc appointments.
