The Loc SNOB is based at 2400 West Pioneer Parkway, Suite 120, Room 24, in Pantego, and covers much of the loc journey: starting new locs, retwisting and maintaining them, restoring and repairing existing locs, and installing micro locs, wicks and extensions. Appointments are booked online through Glossgenius.

About

Visits begin with a consultation. New clients must book one before scheduling a service, and the consultation for new clients, wicks, micro locs or reps costs $25 and takes about 15 minutes. Listed prices are starting points, since final pricing is set at the consultation and can rise based on hair condition, length, density and maintenance needs. One client review on the site describes the consultation as patient and knowledgeable, with a custom plan made for the client's locs.

Bookings require a nonrefundable deposit, which holds each appointment and is credited toward the total cost. That deposit can be moved to one rescheduled appointment if the change is requested at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead, and missed appointments, incur a 30% fee. Arriving late may be accommodated with a grace period of 10 to 15 minutes, but a late arrival can shorten the service or result in cancellation. Additional guests are permitted only with prior approval. Any balance left after the service is payable when the appointment ends. Appointments outside regular hours carry a $50 after-hours fee. The salon is open Tuesday 8:30 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 AM to 6 PM, Friday 8:30 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 7:30 PM, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Several options stand out. The Revive Me package costs $300 and saves $85 compared with booking the included services separately. It combines crochet work, detox, a wash, deep conditioning, steam treatment, a loc shaft evaluation and restoration, and package credits apply automatically at checkout when booked through the services page. Detox comes in a simple version for $45 and a specialized version for $65, customized to scalp and hair needs. Two Strand Tuesday, a wash, retwist and two strands for $100, is offered on Tuesdays only. Afterpay, Klarna and Affirm are accepted for buy now, pay later payments on bookings from $50 to $4,000, but financing must be approved and paid before an appointment is confirmed, and same-day financing is not allowed.

Consultation first: each client's hair is assessed and final pricing and the service plan are set before the work begins.
