The philosophy is to build strong fundamentals first while giving students room to develop their own creative style.

The Texas State Esthetician License program is a 750-hour course approved by TDLR and is an associate school of Dermalogica. It covers anatomy, skin analysis, facials, waxing and the business of beauty. Students can attend full time over 25 weeks at 30 hours a week, or part time over 50 weeks at 15 hours a week. Classes run Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 2 PM. Applicants must be Texas residents with a state ID. The total cost is listed as $9,000, which includes $7,000 in tuition and $2,000 for registration, a kit, books and a uniform. Tuition can be paid monthly, at $1,166 for full time or $583 for part time. The kit includes Dermalogica products and a welcome package.

The academy also offers a Specialty Eyelash Extension License program approved by TDLR. Consent forms are available for eyelash extensions and eyebrow microblading.

Much of the clinic menu is performed by student practitioners, who work under guidance and are described as the only providers for some services. Students work with real clients in small classes, with one-on-one guidance. Several services are also offered by licensed professionals at higher prices.

For licensed beauty professionals, the academy runs continuing education in brow, facial, wax and lash work, plus teeth whitening and a few specialty courses. Listed course prices include $375 for a lash service information and practical exam prep course, $350 for lash lift and tint certification, $400 for advanced volume training, $650 for a hands-on lash workshop, $550 for hybrid tint and brow mapping, $550 for brow lamination, $450 for threading certification, $900 for a master wax class, $1,250 for a pro power peel course, $1,200 for a teeth whitening class, and a micro shading course that starts at $1,600.

Students learn the fundamentals first and then develop their own creative approach, with small classes, hands-on practice on real clients and individual guidance.
