The Lash Barn occupies a 19th-century barn that was converted into a lash and brow studio. The room is described as cozy and private, and the studio sits inside the Bracken Village community in San Antonio.
Lash extensions are the core of the menu. Sets are built to look natural yet noticeable, with more than 50 shades of brown plus classic black available. According to the salon, its wispy look is its most popular style. A free 30-minute consultation covers goals, lifestyle and style options before a full set is booked. Full sets take up to two hours, and any existing extensions must be removed in a separate booking. Refills and touch-ups are timed to how old the set is, and removal is offered as its own service. UV lash extensions use a UV-cured adhesive, which the salon says many clients prefer for clean attachments and longer wear.
Beyond lashes, the studio offers Korean lash lifts with or without tint, which typically last six to eight weeks, and tinting for lashes or brows. Brow options include keratin brow lamination, brow tinting, and eyebrow wax-and-tint or lamination-wax-tint combinations. Facial waxing covers brows, upper lip, chin, sideburns and a full face service. The Natural Girl Makeover combines a Korean lash lift with tint and a keratin brow lamination with wax in one 90-minute visit.
The boutique area carries accessories, body care, home goods and lash care products. The Lash Barn is an official Light Heart Lash retail partner and sells those products in store. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 12 to 6:30 PM, Friday from 12 to 6 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. The studio is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled without a fee if changed at least 24 hours ahead. Cancellations and no-shows within 24 hours are charged 50% of the appointment price. Several services require a deposit for new clients, and online deposits are non-refundable but can be moved once to a new appointment with more than 24 hours' notice. Clients who no-show are asked to prepay future bookings, and multiple no-shows prevent further online booking. Confirmations are sent by text or email.
Lash sets are curated around each client's eye shape, face shape, eye color, skin tone, lifestyle and natural lash health, with the aim of a natural but noticeable finish.
