The Hive Salon

The Hive Salon works with hair in Phoenix and is run by owner-stylists Amariz, Jennifer and Madonna, with stylists Alondra, Fabi and Ruby also on the team. Services cover blonding, color, cutting, extensions and styling, and the menu includes named services such as The Bright Refresh, The Red Statement, The Reset, The Glossed & Polished, The Signature Solid, The Brunette Return, The Rooted Refresh, Bang Trim and men's perms.

Two larger blonding services stand out. The Full Signature is a complete blonding or color transformation for a major change, with a base shift, customized lightening, a root melt, gloss, a restorative treatment and an optional haircut and blowout; it is priced from $400 and takes about 420 minutes. The Lived In Luxe is a softer dimensional blonde that keeps a natural base, using customized lightening, a root melt, gloss, treatment and an optional haircut and blowout; it is priced from $310 and takes about 300 minutes. Both require a $50 deposit.

Clients who are unsure about extensions can book a 10-minute extension consultation for $20 to see and feel which method suits their hair. Consultations and extension consultations carry a $10 deposit. Extension services listed include tape-in reinstalls, weft installations, weft moves, weft removals and weft reinstalls. Hair blowouts are listed at $85 and color services at $180.

Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person and for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Booking page hours are Tuesday 9:30 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday 2 PM to 5 PM, Thursday and Friday 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and Saturday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The salon is closed on Mondays and Sundays.
