The Hair Apothecary is a hair salon at 101 Gatlin Ave in Orlando, working from a suite inside Flair Salon Suites. It was formerly called MEG salon boutique, and Monique Gilchrist opened it under its current name.

The salon combines hairstyling with an apothecary approach that uses essential oils, and its blog covers essential oils as well. The owner believes feeling beautiful inside and out go together, and that each client should be given a personal approach. Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. Appointments can be requested through the Square booking page, by phone or by email. Listed hours on the booking page are Monday and Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM and Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, with the salon closed Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Each service starts with a consultation so the stylist understands the result the client wants. Listed prices are starting points, and the final cost depends on how much color is used, hair density and time since the last visit. Conditioning and blowdry are included in color services, and foil work includes a toner or gloss when needed. Balayage requires a dimensional toner, which is quoted at the time of service. Iron work may carry a surcharge.
