About

The business was started after its founders saw many women struggling through the postpartum period with little real support. Its co-founders include a salon owner, a yoga studio owner and a nurse anesthetist. The aim is an all-in-one space where mothers can find comfort, care and support, and the business describes itself as a luxury mom-and-baby spa.

A visit can be a few hours of rest, movement, or time with other parents. Membership and day pass holders have access to the activity schedule, a fireside lounge, private nap rooms, private rest rooms and showers, a café, a baby free play area, and a heated bathing station for babies. Nursing areas are available throughout the building, and the facility includes a dedicated workspace and a community lounge. Members receive a sanitized stroller bassinet for the visit, along with extra swaddles, burp cloths and sound machines. Bathrobes, towels, sandals and toiletries are provided in the personal care area.

Prenatal and postpartum movement classes are designed to be safe for pregnant and postpartum bodies. Prenatal classes include strength and yoga, and postpartum classes include strength, Pilates, yoga and barre. Postpartum classes do not need a reservation, while prenatal evening classes must be booked ahead using a personal membership code sent in the welcome email. Fireside chats with prenatal experts run weekdays and are included with membership, and group expert chats cover recovery, mental health, feeding, sleep and relationships.

Trust-based infant care is provided by certified postpartum doulas while parents rest or take part in activities. Babies under one year are welcome, and for babies up to six months, infant care is included when a spa service is booked during a stay with a six-month package. Older babies can use infant care as an add-on, and siblings and children over one are not cared for. Twins are welcome, with one or two bassinets available.

Spa services include prenatal massage, acupuncture, postpartum recovery treatments and facials, and they can be added on during a visit or booked separately without a membership. Spa treatments use the Oliveda skincare line, which the business describes as perinatal-safe.

Workshops and groups cover birth preparation, postpartum planning, newborn care and mental health. Birth classes include a hypnobirthing class and a Live Light Birth and Family class with birth and postpartum planning support. Expert partners offer one-on-one appointments on site for pelvic floor care, mental health, lactation and sleep support, and these do not require a membership. Expert partners set their own fees and collect their own payments.

The sanctuary is open to members Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with events on evenings and weekends. It is not a medical facility and does not provide health care services or treatments. Overnight stays are not offered, but referrals for overnight postpartum doula care are available on request. All members and staff complete a health screening before entry. Insurance is not accepted, but HSA and FSA payments, Affirm and AfterPay are. Packages are not refundable. Free tours and free monthly Sanctuary Circles, a peer support gathering, can be booked without a purchase. The Fourth Tri Foundation, a nonprofit fund, supports postpartum education and movement classes, and its Gather Fund offers scholarships for on-site time during the first postpartum year.

Built around the belief that mothers need real support after birth, with stated values of safety, nurture, gathering and integrity. The business keeps a deliberately low capacity so that care can be individualized.

A calm, warm setting with a fireside lounge, nap rooms, a baby free play area and a heated bathing station.
