About
Brandy Walters is a Community Partner at The Fourth Tri Sanctuary, where she offers lactation support on site as an add-on service. Appointments are booked separately from memberships. She works alongside a team of IBCLCs.
She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with more than 15 years in the field and has recertified as an IBCLC three times. She also holds the BBA and RLC credentials and is an accredited Leader with La Leche League. She founded In Home Lactation Specialists in Virginia and moved that practice to Southeast Metro Detroit in 2010 to meet a need for in-home lactation support there, which remains her focus.
Her approach is evidence-based and welcoming to all families, covering each stage of breastfeeding.
