Extensions are the core of the work. The first visit is a consultation used to plan a longer-term approach: the stylist helps choose extension length, thickness, color blend, pattern, face shape and how the hair will fit into the client's daily life. Notes from each consultation are kept in a computerized database so later visits can pick up where the last one left off. Applications receive a reply within 24 business hours, and applicants are asked to email a photo of their current hair. Pricing for extensions is provided once a completed application has been received, and a deposit is needed before an extension appointment can be set. Same-day installs are not always available, so clients should ask for one when booking.
Hand-tied extensions are the method the studio favors. They are installed without glue or tape, and the salon describes them as less damaging, unlikely to slip and discreet. The salon says they can last six to nine months, with reinstallation suggested every six to ten weeks, and that removal is quick. According to the salon, a hand-tied appointment takes less than two hours and allows a high ponytail and everyday workouts. The studio also offers IBE removal, with other removal methods quoted after a consultation.
Color and highlighting are the other half of the menu, and the studio offers them alongside extensions. After a visit, clients are given at-home care recommendations and a follow-up call within the week. Clients are asked to use paraben- and sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner once extensions are in.
Each client starts with a consultation that plans extensions around face shape, hair texture and lifestyle, with notes kept from visit to visit and follow-up care after each appointment.
