The founders built the business after speaking with salon professionals and suite renters across the country about how suite rental works.

Suites come in five sizes and have salon-engineered lighting and high ceilings for privacy. Renters can have custom cabinets, sinks, chairs or tables fitted. The building has a security entrance system, cameras inside and outside, high-speed WiFi throughout, commercial laundry machines and an on-site salon and facilities director.

Suite owners receive a customized web page on the business's site and internal referrals from other salon and spa professionals. They also get online booking that they own and control, offered at a discount through partner Vagaro, along with a customer management database. Mass text and email tools come with more than 100 editable templates, and tablet or smartphone checkout includes automatic billing and customized receipts. Owners earn retail commission on skin, makeup and hair products sold online.

Studio 99 is an on-site space that can be rented for bridal parties, client events, training and other professional purposes. Open houses and similar client events held there carry no rental fee. The room hosts continuing education classes, certifications, product exhibitions, business seminars and lectures.
