The Chameleon House

The Chameleon House is an esthetics studio owned and operated by Erica Kate. The business describes itself as not an average esthetics studio, and its menu reflects a wider scope than facials and lashes alone: massage, intuitive card readings and energy work such as Reiki are offered alongside esthetics.

Lash services are a large part of the menu. Full sets come in classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume styles, and fills are priced by style for clients who are maintaining a set. Extended fills and new client fills are available for clients who have extensions from another lash artist, subject to the artist's recommendation. Lash touch-ups suit lashes that are mostly still on, and a lash lift and tint lasts four to six weeks. Facials are built around specific goals. The Custom Chameleon Facial is tailored to hydration, brightening or rejuvenation, and named facials address acne-prone skin, fine lines, wrinkles and dullness. A dermaplaning facial is also offered.

Body services include 30 and 60 minute relaxation massages, a 50 minute hot stone treatment on the back, a neck and shoulder add-on and a 45 minute head and scalp treatment. Waxing covers brows, lip, chin, nose, face, underarms, legs and Brazilian areas. Card readings use Oracle cards only, not tarot. Reiki sessions can include sound healing, crystal cleansing and aromatherapy.

Packages are available for relaxation massage, brow waxing, Brazilian waxing, lash fills and the Chameleon Facial. Package credits apply automatically at checkout when a service is booked on the services page. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Appointments should be cancelled at least 24 hours ahead, and later cancellations are charged the full service price. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.

The studio is open Monday from 12 to 6, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 to 7, Friday from 10 to 5 and Saturday from 10 to 3, and is closed Thursday and Sunday. The retail shop carries handcrafted jewelry, natural skin and body blends, candles, art prints and eco-friendly items from local artisans. The online shop lists Fairy Mountain sprays, a face oil, a sugar scrub, lip balms and a smudge bundle.

Holistic and intuitive facials and energy work sit alongside lash, facial and waxing services, with treatments often adjusted to a client's specific goals.
