Cut services cover adult cuts for ages 13 and up, children's cuts for ages 12 and under, and neck and bang trims. Color services include full color, balayage, foil highlights, partial highlights and 10 pack highlights. Styling includes blowouts, updos, glossing treatments and botanical treatments. Polish services include lip and brow waxing, brow dye and extensions. Color pricing depends on length, thickness and the amount of color used, so a consultation is needed for a quote. Color cannot be booked online and is booked by phone or email.

Extensions are human hair adhesive wefts applied without tools or heat. Each application can be reapplied up to three times, with roughly 6 to 10 weeks of wear per application. Extension hair is $33 per pack, and the extension service is $100 an hour. Volume usually takes about 10 to 12 packs and length about 15 to 25 packs. The first application's service charge includes a haircut.

The salon exclusively carries Aveda products, which can be bought in the salon or online. Staff keep up with trends and continuing education, including new techniques and methods. The salon describes its services as award-winning and its stylists and colorists as highly skilled. By its own account, it received Best Haircut in Minneapolis from City Pages in 2011, Best Salon in South Minneapolis from Southwest Journal in 2009, and Best Salon at Big Hair Mania in 2008, a benefit for the MN AIDS Project.

The salon has taken part in community events, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Marathon, where it raised over $7,000, Dining Out for Life, a fundraiser for AIDS service organizations, the 2009 MN AIDS Walk, and the Aveda Earth Month cut-a-thon for clean water. It also hosts an annual food drive for the Aliveness Project.

Stylists keep current through continuing education and new techniques, and the salon works only with Aveda products in a relaxed neighborhood setting.
