The menu centers on braided and twisted styles. Stitch braids, feed-in braids and men's box braids are among the most affordable braided options, while knotless braids, goddess braids and Fulani or tribal braids take longer and are priced higher. Men's box braids are done as individual braided strands across the whole head, and the salon notes that the knotless method places less tension on the roots and edges. Triangle parts are used to section hair for medium, large and extra large box braids and are recommended for those sizes.
Twists are offered in several forms, including standard twists, barrel twists on non-locked hair, and twist braids or reverse barrel twists. Dreadlock services include retwists and starter dreadlocks, which begin on natural hair from the roots and require ongoing maintenance appointments. Crochet styles and quick weaves round out the service list. Add-ons include extra length, peek-a-boo or color, and premium braid hair for a service.
Booking is handled online through the salon's GlossGenius page. Some services require a deposit: pony tails with tracks or braided take a $25 deposit, twist braids or reverse barrel twists a $50 deposit, and urgent requests a $15 deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of an appointment, and no-shows, are charged a 100% cancellation fee. Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in set amounts or a custom amount and are final once sold.
The salon also works with independent stylists. Salon rental starts at $100 and includes the space, a TV, hair dryer, towels, capes, internet, a sink and snacks. Interested stylists can book a free 20-minute interview that covers clients, skills and availability. Hours vary by day, with evening openings on weekdays, Saturday hours from 9 AM to 10:30 PM and Sunday hours from 9 AM to 6 PM. Tuesdays are closed.
