Each visit opens with a consultation on braid size, length and color. Knotless braids are the core of the menu, with prices starting at $180 and varying by size, length and braider level; an average knotless service takes 4 to 6 hours. Xpression hair is included in many braid services, while curly hair for the ends of boho or goddess styles is sold separately. Fine, silky or hard-to-grip hair needs a Fine or Silky Hair Adjustment add-on. The salon offers more than 50 color options, including ombré blends and custom mixes, and up to two colors can be mixed at no extra charge.
Wash and detangling services prepare hair for braiding. A stylist assesses hair at check-in and recommends a detangling level based on texture and condition. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, fully detangled hair that has been blow-dried straight with a comb attachment, without heavy oils, butters or leave-ins, and with previous braids already taken down unless a takedown is booked. A $50 deposit is required for braid services booked online; cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours forfeits it, while cancelling at least 48 hours ahead lets the deposit move to a new time, once. A $25 late fee applies to arrivals more than 30 minutes late.
The salon teaches as well as styles. Private one-on-one braiding classes run two hours for $200 or four hours for $400, with group sessions on request. The Academy offers beginner foundations, advanced mastery and teen and youth programs, and a multi-week Apprenticeship Program can lead to a hire-ready position at the salon. The business is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and clients can call, text or email with questions before an appointment.
