The BelkBeauty Bar

The BelkBeauty Bar is located in Building 3 of a shared site on Highway 71 in Bastrop. It runs by appointment only and brings together its own services with independent beauty professionals who rent booths in the space. Brow, lash, facial and waxing services are the core of the menu.

The salon offers three booth rental stations for beauty professionals working as independent contractors. Each station comes with a floating shelf, a floor-length mirror, wax pots, a reclining salon chair and a trash can. Renters get a personal key for access and a locker with a key in the break room. Rent is $380 per month or $95 per week, or $425 per month for the plan that includes the salon's Phorest booking and point-of-sale system.

Clients can create an account to book, reschedule, cancel and view their appointment history. Confirmations arrive by email or text at booking, with a reminder 48 hours before. A card must be on file to book. Payment is accepted in exact cash or by card. Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours ahead qualify for a deposit refund or transfer, and clients get a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. No-shows are charged in full, and clients with two no-call/no-shows are no longer taken on. Clients may reschedule up to two times before booking a new appointment for that service.

Plus-ones are not allowed because the service rooms have limited space. Children ages 12 and up may only be in the salon when they are being serviced. Before a new service, or once a year after the last signed waiver, clients sign a consent waiver. Facials, including dermaplaning, each have their own waiver.

The salon's mission is to add value to clients' lives through service and to create a space that feels inspiring, confident and relaxed. It states that its team provides quality service, customer care and attention to detail, and it describes its vision as being the leading beauty bar in Bastrop County.
