Lash work covers full sets in several styles, fills, lifts, tints, removal and add-ons. Full sets come in classic, hybrid, wet, volume and MEGA volume styles, with a Master Stylist or Master Artist version of each at a higher price. Fills for classic, hybrid, wet and volume sets are booked two to three weeks after a full set and need about 40 percent of extensions to remain. MEGA volume fills are booked when 40 to 60 percent remain. The MEGA volume set is described as giving the darkest lash line, with 10 lashes per natural lash, and is not recommended when natural lashes are extremely short. A Korean lash lift is described as gentler than a regular lift with a more dramatic look. A free lash extension patch test is offered, with the result checked after 48 hours for an allergic reaction.
Brow services include mapping and shaping with string and wax, a jelly mask add-on that can go with a brow wax, two tint options (one that stains only the brow hairs and one that also stains the skin for a few days), and brow lamination, which can be repeated about every four weeks. Microshading comes as a 6 to 8 week touch-up for clients returning after a first session, or a yearly touch-up for brows with an established shape. Brows that have faded completely need a new session.
Facials include a 30 minute face-only treatment, a Luxe facial with a full sequence of cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masking, toning, serum, moisturizing, eye cream, sunscreen and a scalp massage, a men's version that adds a shoulder and arm massage, and a dermaplaning facial that removes dead skin and facial hair. Dermaplaning is not recommended for acne, raised lesions or broken skin. Facials are not available to clients using retinoids, vitamin A or Accutane, or with recent sun exposure, cold sores or open wounds on the face.
Waxing covers face, arms, legs, underarms, back, stomach and bikini and Brazilian areas. Bikini and Brazilian waxing are offered to women only and are for body waxing. Hair should be about a quarter inch long, usually two to four weeks of growth. Clients on certain acne medications that increase skin sensitivity, such as Accutane, Retin-A or some antibiotics, cannot be waxed. Clients are asked to arrive for lash, brow and facial visits without makeup on the eyes, brows or face, and to follow the prep notes for their service.
Booking reminders are sent by text and email 48, 24 and 2 hours before each appointment. Clients have a 15 minute grace period, and late arrivals may not fit in, so notice ahead is requested. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50 percent of the booked services, and no-shows are charged 50 percent. Cancellations go by email to the address on the confirmation, while emergencies go through the appointment text messages. Children under six are recommended to be arranged with childcare, since the salon has equipment and hazardous materials.
