Its three administrators, Mrs. Cantu, Mrs. King and Mrs. Garcia, hold beauty licenses and have worked in the industry for more than 40 years combined.

The school runs four licensing programs. The cosmetology program is 1000 hours and covers haircutting and chemical services, along with theory on the science and business of the trade. Cosmetology students work on clients before they are licensed. The esthetician program is 750 hours and covers skin care, facials, makeup, lashes, hair removal and caring for clients' skin. The manicurist program is 600 hours, and a combined manicurist/esthetician track gives a dual license covering skin and nails.

The manicuring curriculum covers manicures, pedicures, tip overlays, sculptures, acrylic nails, traditional hard gel, wraps, color theory, 3D nail art, gel polish, glitter and crystal application. The manicuring program has specialty instructors on site. The school describes it as one of the strongest programs in the area.

Alongside their licensing, students can also earn specialty certificates. Cosmetology students can earn certificates in acrylic nails, eyelash extensions, eyelash lifts, eyebrow lamination, manicure and pedicure, Eurofacials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dip nails, gel polish, hard gel, advanced machine facials and nail art. Esthetician students can earn certificates in eyelash extensions, eyelash lifts, eyebrow lamination, Eurofacials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and advanced machine facials.

The salon menu is open to clients as well as students. Hair services include ladies' cuts in short, medium and long lengths, bangs, clipper cuts, beard or edge up, and perms, relaxers and keratin treatments. Nail services range from full sets and fills to dip nails, repairs, acrylic removal and gel polish removal. Skin services include facials with optional 15-minute LED therapy, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and a vitamin C firming mask. Some listed prices are a shampoo, cut and style for $35, a retouch and style for $45, a facial for $65, and a Keratin Chocolate treatment for $110. Partial highlights start at $65. Students get hands-on practice, including working on clients in the cosmetology program before licensing, and the school adds specialty certificates on top of its licensing programs.
