The Beauty Parlor is run by a mother and daughter team. Robin Willett owns the business and works as its hair replacement specialist from a private studio in Overland Park, Kansas. Gi Gi runs the Kansas City, Missouri studio, which is in the historic Crossroads District. Each studio offers a private, one-on-one experience.

Hair replacement includes mesh integration, a non-invasive method for women with thinning to extensive hair loss, and beaded toppers, which are semi-permanent and attach comfortably. Daily wear toppers come in silk or lace in many sizes, with full-coverage options that add length and density and are removed each day. Hairline toppers are lightweight pieces that slip on like a headband and come off at bedtime. Hair extensions are available as wefts, keratin bonds or hybrid blends. Custom color matching and blending of natural hair with new hair is part of the work. The studio uses premium human hair for extensions and hair systems, and every installation comes with a home maintenance kit.

Clients move through a sequence of steps: an initial consultation, custom color matching, placing the order, installation, and then maintenance visits. A consultation is required before any service can be booked, and it includes a personalized quote. First-time clients typically spend $1,500 or more on a new hair installation, while color maintenance begins at $550 or more. All prices are subject to change.

New extension services require a signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer. Maintenance-only appointments require a $100 retainer fee. Cherry financing is offered for new installations only, not maintenance, and its payment plans include 0% APR options subject to eligibility. Rescheduling is free with at least 48 hours notice. Cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours of an appointment incurs a fee of 50% of the service cost, up to $500, and a no-show is charged the full cost. Clients more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, which can carry a 50% cancellation fee. Completed services are not refunded, and unopened retail products may be returned within 7 days with proof of purchase. Clients are asked to disclose relevant health conditions, allergies, medications and previous treatments before services.

Work is planned in stages: a consultation and personalized quote, custom color matching, ordering, installation, then ongoing maintenance visits.

Each visit is private and one-on-one in a studio setting.
