The Authentic Blonde

The Authentic Blonde is a private custom color studio led by owner Anastasia Prutch, who is known as Stasia. Appointments take place in a suite, and only the guest receiving service may be inside, so each visit is one-on-one. The studio describes its appointments as a luxury experience.

New guests begin with a consultation form, after which Anastasia provides a personalized quote. The New Guest Custom Session is a full blonding and color visit for first-time clients that takes about five and a half hours and starts at $430 plus product. It includes a color analysis, custom lightening or color, a K18 prep treatment, a custom gloss, deep conditioning, a signature blowout, and a personalized maintenance guide. Returning guests can book a Full Custom Session from $395, a Partial Custom Session from $285 covering the top, front and sides, or a Faceframe Session with five to ten foils around the hairline and partline from $180.

Smaller visits are also offered. A Mini Session lightens only the top crown and hairline and includes a gloss and blowout for $225. A Gloss Refresh is a customized toning gloss for $125, and All Over Color is a single shade from roots to ends with no lightening, from $180. Grey Coverage plus Gloss is a root retouch with a custom gloss, from $180. A haircut is available only as an add-on to a color or texture appointment for $65. A 30-minute in-person color consultation is $20.

Product is charged separately at checkout and is measured by weight in grams with SalonScale. Product charges typically run from $45 to $100 or more, depending on the complexity and coverage of the service.

Booking requires a deposit of 50% of the service total, applied at checkout, and is paid by Zelle. Appointments are confirmed by text once the deposit arrives. Cancelling or rescheduling within 72 hours forfeits the deposit, and cancellations made 24 hours or less before the appointment carry a $50 fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late incurs a $45 late fee, and early arrivals are not guaranteed early service. Guests should disclose any previous at-home color, gloss, chemical treatment or over-the-counter product before the appointment, since corrections for undisclosed treatments are billed separately. Guests may request one complimentary adjustment within 72 hours if the result does not match the original consultation. Payment is due at the end of the service by Zelle (preferred), cash, debit or credit card with a 3.5% processing fee, or Apple Pay.
