Color and extension work often begins with a consultation. The consultation is a 15-minute in-person visit that costs $20 and is used for first-time color clients and some extension services. It cannot be booked on a Saturday or on the same day as the service it is for.

Virgin hair relaxer clients are asked to avoid scratching, wearing hats, shampooing, sweating and drinking coffee for 48 hours before and after the appointment. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, with later hours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. After-hours appointments can be requested in advance for an added fee of 1.5 times the total cost of the services booked.

Appointments are booked online through a Square page, and certain color and extension services need a consultation first.
