The salon describes itself as family friendly and affordable, with a welcoming atmosphere and a cheerful team. Walk-ins are welcome at all locations, parking is free and ample, and shampoos are complimentary at every salon. Hours are 10am to 7pm Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

Services span the whole range from children's cuts and men's haircuts to single process all-over color, two or more color treatments such as balayage, ombre and sombre, and foil highlights. Keratin smoothing treatments are offered in express and full versions; the salon notes that this treatment is not a relaxer or straightener and is intended to reduce frizz. A perm lasts about 6 months with proper home care. Braids, cornrows, dreadlocks and Ebony relaxing are also available.

Prices are starting points and can change with hair length, condition and thickness, and with the stylist's experience; a plus sign on the price list marks variable pricing. Free color consultations are offered before color services, and balayage, ombre and sombre are priced after a consultation. A free detailed consultation is offered for choosing hair extensions.

Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours ahead; shorter notice or a no-show may cost the booking deposit. Re-dos are offered within 7 days to correct the original result, not to change the service. Unsupervised children are not allowed in the salon, and children 12 and older may wait in the seating area. Chemical services need parent or guardian consent for anyone under 18. Pets are not permitted, in line with Texas law. Cash and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted, but personal checks are not. Gratuities are not included in service fees and can be added to card payments or given in cash.

Club Cards and referral cards reward returning clients and people who send new clients. Discounts apply to service totals of 45 dollars or more before taxes and fees, and not to retail products. Clients agree that photos and video taken in the salon may be used for promotion, and they can ask staff not to be photographed.
