Travel anywhere in the Houston area is covered by the base price. Trips beyond that are priced by distance and the time the stylist spends on the road. The salon also takes destination bookings across Texas and nationwide, with each trip quoted individually. The areas the salon names as part of its service range are Downtown, The Heights, River Oaks, Montrose and Midtown, along with Memorial, Galleria/Uptown, Bellaire, Katy, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Pearland, The Woodlands, Spring, Cypress, Clear Lake, Galveston and Conroe.
The business says it has more than 25 years of artistry experience and describes itself as award-winning. It states that its work has appeared in Glamour, Allure and Maxim, and that it has worked on Miss USA, Miss Universe, NYFW, celebrity shoots and luxury weddings. A visit usually lasts 60 to 120 minutes for an individual appointment, and group bookings are scheduled so everyone is ready on time. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair unless told otherwise, and with a freshly cleansed face free of makeup. Product preferences can be shared before the appointment. A complimentary consultation is offered before booking, and clients can request a preferred artist, subject to availability, after viewing profiles and portfolios.
Bookings need at least five days' notice, and bridal dates can be requested up to two years ahead. Requests carry no payment until an artist confirms the date, at which point payment is charged in full, with a 3% service and processing fee shown as a separate line. Installment invoicing is available on request. Pending requests can be cancelled or rescheduled at no cost; once a booking is confirmed and paid it is non-refundable, though the business says it will try to reschedule where an artist is available. Rates may vary by location and artist selection.
The Beauty Shop sells professional tools, accessories, skincare, and lip and face products, including an airbrush system starter kit. Gift cards never expire and can be used for services or shop products. Preset amounts are $75, $150, $250 and $500, or a custom amount. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, apart from a remaining balance under $2.50 that may be refunded in cash at redemption as Texas law requires.
