Sugaring uses a paste made from sugar, lemon and water, heated only to body temperature. It is spread against the direction of hair growth and pulled off with the growth, and each treatment is adjusted to the client's skin type and the area. The studio says sugaring lasts longer than waxing, is gentler and less irritating, and that discomfort is mostly brief after each pull. Clients are asked to stop shaving or trimming at least two weeks before a first visit, to exfoliate the area two days before, and to arrive with clean, dry skin with no lotions or oils. Sugaring is offered for brows, underarms, arms, legs, feet and toes, chest and back, tummy, butt, lip, chin, cheek, nipples, bikini and Brazilian areas. Brazilian sugaring can remove all the hair or leave a strip, triangle or custom shape. The bikini menu is listed for women. The V-Cial Ingrown Hair Treatment, at $50 ($45 for members), targets inflamed or congested follicles and ingrown hairs in the bikini area and includes a soothing mask, high-frequency current and a clarifying serum.
Dermaplaning removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair with a sterile surgical blade. A standard appointment is about 30 minutes, according to the studio, and costs $100 ($80 for members). Esthetician-guided boosters can be added, including the Dermaplaning Booster and the Treatment Booster, each $40 ($32 for members); the Treatment Booster can include enzymatic treatments, a chemical peel series or oxygen therapy. Clients are advised to avoid sun exposure, wear SPF 30 or higher, and skip retinol and acids for about a week afterward.
Each first visit begins with a skin analysis, and the esthetician may recommend a different treatment if it suits the client better. The studio recommends sugaring every four to six weeks and favors four weeks. Memberships include The Cookie Club, a monthly sugaring plan, and The Fuzz Club, a monthly dermaplaning plan. Members receive reduced pricing on sugaring, dermaplaning and boosters, 10% off additional services and retail products, and credits that never expire. Memberships can be paused for up to 90 days, or cancelled or paused once per year after 90 days; cancelling before 90 days carries a $30 fee. Appointment changes need at least 12 hours' notice, and reminder texts arrive two days ahead with links to confirm, cancel or reschedule. Last-minute cancellations for reasons such as emergencies, traffic or illness are the client's responsibility.
