Owner and master hair extension artist Michelle Metzger founded the salon and has focused exclusively on hair extensions since 2012. Her work centers on the individual client, and the salon describes its space as calm and welcoming, with services tailored to each person. Color is not performed in-house. When a client wants a specific shade, another stylist handles the color and the salon custom matches the extensions to it.

A visit usually begins with a free 15-minute consultation for extensions or a keratin service, and every appointment starts this way. Extension prices are set at that consultation and give a firm quote for the service day that includes all necessary items. The salon also offers a Wedding Special Day consultation, which can cover tape extensions or weft that are repositioned for everyday wear or removed after the event, and Halocouture samples are available in the salon for clients who want a temporary piece they can remove daily.

The salon works with several extension suppliers so clients can choose from different budgets, and it only uses brands the stylist knows well that have been placed by a professional salon. The salon says it works only with hair companies that ethically source their product. Keratin services are offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with limited spaces. Payment is due at the time of service by cash, credit or debit card, or other electronic payment, and personal checks are not accepted. When hair has to be ordered, half the extension cost is due at booking, is non-refundable and is applied to the service. Cancellations and rescheduling require a call 24 hours ahead, and late cancellations are charged half the service price.

Each service is built around the individual client, with collaboration among stylists when a shade or service calls for it. Every appointment starts with a consultation.
