Michelle Metzger

Michelle Metzger is the owner and founder of Swank Salon and works as a master hair extension artist. She has focused exclusively on hair extensions since 2012 and has 19 years in the beauty industry. She received the Best of Bellevue award for Hair Extension Technician for 2023, 2024 and 2025. Her work covers keratin bond, V-Light, weft, tape-in and micro-link extension methods. She specializes in cutting extensions and longer hair, in keratin smoothing treatments, and in custom color matching for extensions done alongside other stylists. She holds a cosmetology license from the Washington State Board of Cosmetology. She has keratin treatment certifications from Brazilian Blowout and Global Keratin, and she is certified in Hairdreams thickening systems, including the Thermoplast bonding system and Volume+ Micro-lines. She is also certified by Hairdreams, The Hair Shop, Easihair Pro and Dream Catchers, and holds a Master Extensions Certification. She attends at least two large industry shows each year and attended the World Middle East Beauty Show in Dubai in 2021.
