Airbrush tans are custom-mixed to each client's skin tone. Paler complexions get a violet base and warmer tones get a green base. Tans come in Base and Build levels, and a heated Bronzed option uses an Evolv application that warms the air and solution to 98°F. According to the studio, airbrush tans typically last 7 to 10 days, depending on skin type, preparation and aftercare. A two-hour express airbrush tan is available as an additional option.
Walk-ins are welcome depending on technician availability, and appointments can be booked online at book.sunstudiotan.com or by phone. Appointments can be rescheduled online up to five hours before the session. Booking deposits are $1 for airbrush sessions, $20 for teeth whitening and $25 for the Bridal Trial, and payments are processed through Stripe. Clients can park free for two hours at the Joseph Garage on Russell Street, a short walk away. The studio is open seven days a week.
For weddings, the Bridal Trial costs $125, takes 45 minutes and is best booked two to six weeks before the wedding. It includes a heated airbrush trial, a final airbrush tan in wedding week, shade matching, a wedding-day prep timeline and an aftercare plan. Skincare and tanning products are also sold online, for shipping or pickup.
Each tan is custom-mixed to the client's skin tone, with a violet base for paler complexions and a green base for warmer ones.
