About

Sugaring is the method used throughout the studio. The paste is made from sugar, lemon and water. According to the studio, sugaring leaves skin smoother with less irritation than traditional waxing.

Before a session, guests are asked to have about two weeks of hair growth, to exfoliate the area beforehand to loosen the hair, and to avoid applying oils or lotions to that area. Tanning is best avoided for 24 to 48 hours before an appointment. For a first Brazilian, loose, comfortable clothing is suggested, since the skin can feel slightly tender afterward.

Appointments are booked online through Vagaro, and gift certificates can be bought on the website. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged half the service price, and no-shows are charged the full price. Regular Brazilian clients on a four-to-six-week schedule get 15 percent off through the loyalty program. The studio is open Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday until 7 p.m., Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. New guests with specific questions can email the studio.
