Sugarlips Esthetique is based at 2041 Rosecrans Ave in El Segundo. Its services are grouped into sugaring, lashes, lash lift and tint, brow tint and lamination, airbrush tanning, and lymphatic and dermal massage. The salon also lists specialized facials in its navigation.

The salon describes its focus as relaxation from the moment a client walks in. Its sugaring paste is made from sugar, lemon and water and applied by hand with a gloved hand and a fresh portion for each client. The salon says the technique is gentle enough for very sensitive skin, including clients with eczema and psoriasis. Sugaring can remove hair as short as 1/8 inch.

Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes applied to each natural lash, in three curls and lengths from 8mm to 16mm. Thickness is chosen based on the health and thickness of the client's natural lashes. The salon may decline to service lashes that are not healthy enough or that have been damaged by a previous application elsewhere, and may suggest its vitamin lash growth serum. Clients are asked not to wear makeup or eye creams on the day of the appointment.

Brows can be laminated and tinted in one visit. Lamination typically lasts about 4 to 8 weeks with proper care and tinting about 4 to 6 weeks. If the two are done separately, tinting should wait at least 48 hours after lamination, and brows should stay dry for at least 24 hours after either service. The lash lift and tint uses what the salon calls a professional-grade collection, and clients keep lashes dry for 24 to 48 hours afterward.

Airbrush tanning uses organic ingredients. Regular solution needs 6 to 8 hours before sweating or getting wet, while express solution needs 2 to 6 hours. A tan typically lasts about a week and up to 10 days. The bronzer can rub off on clothing. PowerDerm is described as kinetic dermabrasion combined with lymphatic drainage massage; the salon says results build over 18 to 24 treatments, with several treatments per week possible.

Booking requires a valid credit card. Clients should arrive 5 minutes early to complete paperwork, and there is a five-minute grace period for late arrivals if a text or call is made. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full price. Services and products are not returnable for any reason. The salon also sells its products for clients to take home.
