Sugared Mission Viejo

Sugared has a San Clemente location at 1411 N El Camino Real and a Mission Viejo location at 25380 Marguerite Pkwy, Suite H. Each location has its own phone line.

The menu has two facials. The Rejuvenating Facial is 60 minutes and costs $165, and covers deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, hydration and a soothing massage. The Renewing Facial is 90 minutes and costs $215, and is designed for sun damage, hyperpigmentation, loss of firmness and deep wrinkles. It uses enzyme or AHA exfoliation, a vitamin C infusion, peptide and collagen boosters, and hyaluronic acid. The facials use premium European products, which the business describes as results driven.

Sugaring is the studio's hair removal service. The paste is made from organic sugar, lemon and water, and the business states its ingredients are 100% organic and that the paste is safe for sensitive skin. It is served lukewarm rather than hot, applied against the direction of hair growth and removed along it. A gloved hand applies the paste, and each client gets a fresh ball of paste.

Before a sugaring visit, hair should be about two weeks long, though extraction is possible at 1/4 inch. Clients should arrive with clean, dry skin and stop exfoliating at least two days ahead. Afterward, wait at least two days before exfoliating, then exfoliate every two to three days to help prevent ingrown hairs, and moisturize daily with a natural oil or moisturizer.

Booking is subject to a few policies. Appointments need 24 hours' notice to cancel. Clients who arrive more than five minutes late are asked to let the studio know by text or phone as soon as possible, and may be asked to wait so the next appointment can stay on schedule. Late arrivals may not have time for every service booked. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows carry a $10 fee, payable at the next visit. eGift cards are available in $10, $20, $25 and $50 amounts or a custom amount.
