Sugar Lips Studio is operated by Sugar Lips Studio By Micky LLC and was established by owner and licensed esthetician Micky Richards. The studio's stated mission is to build its services on personal relationships, using waxing and sugaring in a sanitary and comfortable setting. The studio says it aims to go beyond what traditional hair removal salons offer.

Parking is free in the lot along the side of the building, and free street parking is also available nearby. Clients walk to Suite A-102 and are greeted when they come in. Appointments are required. Only the client and esthetician are in the treatment room, except for clients under 15, who may have a parent or guardian present. Cancellations need 12 hours' notice, and a late cancellation is charged 50% of the service total to the card on file. Arriving 5 to 10 minutes late requires a call or text, and a late arrival may be asked to wait or reschedule. A no-call, no-show is charged the full service total.

Female services cover the face, body and intimate areas, with lip waxing starting at $9, full face starting at $38 and Brazilian wax starting at $58. Sugaring is also offered for most areas, and a full body wax is priced at $125. Men can book wax and sugar services including Man-Kini, Man-Twini and Man-Zilian manscaping options, with Man-Zilian starting at $75. The VIP Vajacial is a one-hour treatment priced at $100 that includes steaming, cleansing, an enzyme peel, extractions and a jelly mask. It cannot be booked on the same day as a bikini or Brazilian service and must be scheduled 4 days to 3 weeks after one.

According to the studio's FAQ, results last about three to four weeks after a first service and up to six weeks with regular maintenance. The studio also runs one-day classes for licensed beauty professionals, those enrolled in formal beauty school, or those completing an apprenticeship beauty program, with one to two students per class. Class dates and pricing are sent by email on request. The studio also offers practical portion kits for Georgia esthetician state board test takers only, and sells skincare and body products.

Services are built on personal relationships, with waxing and sugaring carried out in a sanitary, comfortable setting.
