Sugar Happy was founded in 2014 and operates as a small studio in Newport Beach. Each appointment is one-on-one, held in a private room that uses soft natural light, clean linens and warm details.
Sugaring is the studio's core service. The paste is made from organic sugar, water and lemon and is never applied hot, and no strips or sticks are used. It removes hair in the direction of growth and also lifts away dead skin cells. Clients are asked to let about two weeks of hair grow before a sugaring visit and to exfoliate regularly beforehand for the best results.
Beyond hair removal, the studio offers Customized, Teen and Oxygen, Happy or Peptide peel facials, with dermaplaning listed among its skin services. Lash lifts with tint and brow lamination with shaping are offered without extensions, and body treatments include a Booty Buff or V'Jacial, a Back Treatment and a Full Body Scrub. Natural teeth whitening is also available.
Requests are made through an online form, and a booking is not confirmed until the owner replies. The studio can also be reached by phone at 949-525-8318.
Sugaring is done with an organic paste applied at room temperature and removed without strips, in a private one-on-one setting. According to the salon, its sanitation standards are clean and thoughtful.
