The studio uses an organic paste made from sugar, lemon and water, applied lukewarm, which removes hair in the direction of growth. Its hard wax is an ultra-clear formula applied warm and works against the growth pattern. According to the studio, it uses only high-quality organic sugar paste and gentle hard wax, and describes its sugar paste as hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. It also says it strictly enforces sanitary standards and never double-dips. A first visit includes a complimentary skin consultation and an aftercare walkthrough. Clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice, and not to trim beforehand. Arriving five minutes early is requested, and a ten-minute grace period applies. Exfoliating the target area 24 to 48 hours ahead and skipping body lotions, oils and deodorant that day are suggested.
The facial menu runs from a basic facial with cleansing, extractions, high frequency and a hand and head massage, to an acne facial using a 22% beta peel, derma-planing with a medical-grade scalpel, microdermabrasion and an anti-aging treatment that includes radio frequency. Bikini and buttock facials are also offered. Booking requires a card on file and a non-refundable deposit. Changes with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be made online, and late cancellations and no-shows carry fees based on the service price. Wax passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and can only be used by the client who bought them.
