Sugar and Spice Studios

Sugar and Spice Studios works out of a private suite in the Salon Lofts building in Cherry Creek, Denver, and is owned by Amanda Darby and Maddie Formby. The salon describes its space as relaxed, private, fun and welcoming, and says its results are elevated and that everyone belongs there.

The menu is grouped into blonding, color, gloss and toner, cuts and styling, and extensions. Blonding comes in four tiers, from brightening the hairline and face frame up to a long full transformation, and each blonding service includes a bonder or bond builder, gloss, a scalp massage and styling. Timing and price for the largest transformation depend on hair length, density and the result a client wants.

Clients can bring a laptop and work with a lap pad during their appointment, order food delivery, and enjoy refreshments and snacks. A water refill station sits by the bathrooms, and Olive and Finch, a coffee and food spot, is next door. Bookings are made through the salon's GlossGenius pages. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.

Park in the 55 Cook Street garage on level B2. Ride the 3300 bridge elevator up to the lobby level, turn left, and head toward the Salon Lofts lobby entrance. The salon is in Suite 46, the first hallway on your right. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 10 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 7 PM. The salon is closed Wednesday through Friday.
