Styles by Kiara is a full-service hair salon on Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The salon is owned by Kiara Jones-Griffith, and its services cover relaxing and texturizing, color with a reconstructive treatment, cuts, wash-and-style appointments, silk presses, natural twists, sew-ins, custom clip-ins, wig services, and loc work.

New clients should plan around consultations. Chemical services, including relaxers, texturizers and color, require an in-person consultation first, and that consultation cannot fall on the same day as a chemical service. Consultations cover hair goals, hair history, texture and density, and any concerns, and they do not include styling. Sew-ins only need a consultation when a client has thinning areas, and first-time loc clients need an in-person loc consultation.

Appointments can be booked up to 60 days ahead, and a waitlist is available for openings. A deposit is required and is non-refundable, and the consultation fee is credited toward the service. First-time clients have 15 extra minutes added to their appointment. Arriving more than 15 minutes late means rescheduling, and a no-call, no-show forfeits the deposit. Add-on services are not offered on the day of the appointment. Payment is accepted by cash, major credit cards, and Afterpay for products and hair bundles of $50 and up, but not Cash App or Zelle.

The salon sells and uses its own SBK Hair Care line, which Kiara formulates. The products are made in small batches in the USA and are designed for all hair types, including chemically treated hair and children aged 2 and up. A patch test is advised before first use. Hair color and lightening are done only with SBK products. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday with later evenings on Thursday and Friday, and is closed Sunday and Monday.

The salon specializes in healthy hair care and styling, using consultations to plan each service around a client's hair goals and history.

Bridal consultation and wedding-day styling, with a trial required before wedding-day services. Bookings are made six months to a year ahead.
