Styles by Christy is a hair appointment business run from Suite 8 at 24723 Cedar Rd in Lyndhurst, Ohio, inside Sola Salon Legacy Village. Christy works alone in the suite and serves Lyndhurst, Beachwood, and surrounding communities. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm, Friday from 11am to 6pm, and Saturday from 10am to 3pm, with Sunday, Monday, and Thursday closed.

Each visit is one-on-one. Appointment times are never double-booked, and every appointment includes a consultation, color application if needed, a cut or trim, and a blow-dry style. Guests can expect complimentary refreshments and snacks, free Wi-Fi, magazines, and music or a radio station picked through Alexa. Silent appointments can be requested by email or in person. Guests who arrive up to 15 minutes late are accommodated, though a later arrival may mean rescheduling or dropping some services.

Color is built around soft, low-maintenance grow-outs. Options include gray blending, which uses shades that blend into gray hair to stretch out touch-ups, and all over color that either covers gray while keeping the natural shade or brings in vibrant reds and rich brunettes. Blonding ranges from babylights, balayage, and traditional highlights to bright blonde. Color takes best on hair washed within the past day or two, and temporary gray coverage sprays should be avoided beforehand; hair that needs washing on the day adds a $30 charge. Color is usually due every 6 to 10 weeks and cuts every 4 to 10 weeks, and prebooking the next visit is suggested.

Booking and policies are handled online through a Glossgenius booking page, which is also where gift cards are purchased (linked from the About section). Cancellations need at least 24 hours notice; cancellations inside that window are charged 50% of the booked service. Inquiries get a reply within up to 24 hours during business hours. Custom or unlisted requests go through a digital consultation form. Curly cut clients are asked to arrive with hair down and styled, without buns or ponytails.

Haircuts are shaped around each guest's lifestyle, personality, face and head shape, and hair texture, with the aim of low-maintenance results for busy days.
