Style Me PDX grew out of a bridal business founded by Ashley Berglund, and it now has a team of eight stylists. The studio is in Suite 700 on NE Halsey Street in Fairview, and it offers hair care, makeup, facial and body waxing, lash extensions, and wedding hair and makeup under one roof.

Lash extensions are offered in classic, hybrid, volume, and mega volume styles, with full sets and fills for each. A first full set takes about two to three hours and follows a lash design consultation, while a fill takes about 45 minutes. Fills are usually recommended every two to three weeks, and most guests come in about every two weeks. Clients who book a full set receive an aftercare kit with a lash cleanser, cleansing brush, care instructions, a mascara wand, and a lash punch card, and aftercare products are sold separately. Lashes applied by other artists are not filled, and new clients booking an extension service pay the full set price. Foreign lashes can be removed in the same appointment as a full set.

Wedding work follows a clear process. Couples pay a 25 percent non-refundable retainer and sign a contract to hold the date, and bookings open up to a year ahead. Bridal trials are scheduled once the contract is signed, one to one and a half months before the wedding, and out-of-state brides can arrange trials more flexibly. Each look takes about 30 to 45 minutes, so hair and makeup together usually run about two to two and a half hours, while hair only or makeup only take about one to one and a half hours. Travel beyond the first hour is charged per stylist. Once the contract and retainer are in place, services are not removed, and extra services depend on stylist availability.

Hair treatments use Olaplex and K18 products, and the hair care menu includes restorative treatments for moisture, protein, and scalp renewal that can be booked alone or added to a cut or color. Makeup artists use a range of brands, and each product is tested for performance before it joins the kit.
