Studio Stella operates from Studio 12 at 1040 Old Country Road in Plainview and is owned by Stella Altadonna, a licensed esthetician. The studio's services range from arm, body and face waxing to brow work, dermaplaning and lash lifts.
Services are grouped by area: arms, body, brows, face, intimate, legs and packages. Half arm waxing covers the upper or lower arm, including the elbows, and full arm includes the hands. Upper and lower leg services both include the knees, and full leg includes the feet and toes. Intimate services are offered for female anatomy only.
Brow services include a middle-and-trim, a standard eyebrow service, a tint using the Bronsun Hybrid Tint, and a combined wax and tint. Eyebrow consultations are listed at no charge.
The studio accepts payments. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, and applicants must be approved before their appointment. Gift cards can be bought through the website, and existing package credits apply automatically at checkout when booking through the services page.
Cancellation rules: after a third no-show or same-day cancellation or reschedule, a deposit of 50% of the total services is required for future bookings. Cancellation deposits are nonrefundable and go toward services on the day of the appointment.
Hours are Wednesday 8 AM to 2 PM, Thursday 2 PM to 8 PM, Friday 12 PM to 6 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM. The studio is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Four service listings, AEB, GMM, PVP and RHH, are reserved for prearranged clients and should be booked only when the studio directs.
