Eyelash extensions use synthetic mink lashes, with each one attached to a single natural lash using a medical-grade adhesive. Looks range from natural to glamorous and are planned around what the client wants. Sets offered are the Express, Classic, Light Volume, Volume and Mega Volume. A Full Set is for clients who have no lashes on or whose last refill was more than five weeks ago, and it begins with a consultation, eye measurements and mapping. Refills are timed to how long it has been since the last visit: a Mini Fill for touch-ups within a week, a Standard Refill two to three weeks out, and an Extended Refill four to five weeks out, after which a new set is needed. Extensions can also be removed, which returns clients to their natural lashes.

Lash lifts and tints curl the natural lashes, followed by a keratin conditioning treatment and a tint mixed for each client. Brow lamination starts with a consultation and brow mapping, and tinting is optional. The process takes about 15 to 20 minutes, or 30 to 40 minutes with tinting or waxing, and the results are described as lasting about four to six weeks, or up to eight weeks with good aftercare. The salon describes brow lamination as a safe option that costs less than microblading. Brow shaping at Plainview uses waxing, threading and tinting. Waxing is also offered for eyebrow shaping, upper lip, face and underarms, using a product the salon describes as cruelty free and free of perfumes, dyes and artificial ingredients. Dermaplaning exfoliates the skin and removes dirt and vellus hair, and the salon says it is painless with no downtime.

Services are by appointment only, and a credit card must be left on file to book. Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm, with the studio closed Sunday and Monday. A first appointment should allow 90 minutes to 2 hours. Clients should arrive on time, since appointments run back to back and may not accommodate late arrivals. Clients with lash extensions on should say so when booking so extra time can be set aside for removal. For lash appointments, the face should be clean with no eye makeup, mascara, sunscreen, creams, moisturizers or lash curler, and clients who wear contacts should wear glasses or remove them beforehand. Caffeine is best avoided before an appointment.

Each service is tailored to the individual client, with a consultation before lash work and a look shaped around natural features.
