Studio A is an individually owned and operated salon suite, run by owner-stylist Alexandra Summers from Suite A, Room 18 inside Queenston Salon Studios. The suite is open Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Wednesday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and it is closed on weekends.

The menu covers haircuts for women, men and children under 10, color and root color, highlights in several sizes, balayage, color correction, blowouts and special occasion styling, French braids, glitter extensions, and treatments including deep conditioning, a split end mender, toner, and two Brazilian Blowout options. Eyebrow tint is also offered.

Every service is booked separately. Because the amount of product needed depends on hair length and density, prices can vary, so a free consultation can be scheduled to settle on an accurate price before booking. Balayage, color correction, highlights, all-over color, root color, and deep conditioning cover that service alone, so a haircut or blow dry needs its own appointment.

Clients are asked to let the salon know about anything that might affect their appointment time. Late arrivals may have their session shortened so that following appointments stay on schedule. Gift cards are available in custom amounts.

Services are booked a la carte, and final pricing is set after a complimentary consultation when hair length or density changes the amount of product needed.
