The business describes itself as a legacy studio built on creativity, sustainability and community, and as a place to recharge on Main Street. Its aromatherapy work is guided by care, education and respect, and it carries the Green Circle Salon designation for recycling salon waste.
A haircut or styling visit starts with a warm towel and a personalized consultation. Color appointments begin with a conversation about hair goals, lifestyle and hair health. Color services take place in a candle-lit room with a fireplace and a shampoo area, and the studio is described as private and peaceful.
Skin and scalp services are set up in tiers, so guests can choose how much care and time they want. The Root Revival Ritual and Skin Ritual are among the signature treatments, and aromatherapy consultations can lead to custom blends made for the client.
Beyond the chair, the studio runs a refill bar and blend bar, sells its Simply 23 products (many handcrafted in-house by the family), and offers a monthly SoapCycle membership box. A mobile refill and blend bar trailer travels to neighborhoods, markets, private gatherings and community events, and the studio also offers custom wellness experiences for events. The salon says its work has been featured in American Salon Magazine several times and that it was chosen for Matrix's Spread the Love campaign.
Aromatherapy is practiced with care, education and respect, and skin and scalp care is built in tiers so clients choose their level of treatment and time.
