The Face Reality Acne Bootcamp is a customized program built around a new at-home skincare routine and in-studio treatments every two weeks for a minimum of 90 days. The studio says clearing averages 90 days and may take longer, and describes the program as clinical skin rehab rather than a spa day. It states a success rate above 90% and calls the program award-winning. Once skin clears, follow-up treatments are included at least every one to three months. The program begins with an assessment ($90) that includes a consultation, education on acne and a skin analysis; the Acne Assessment plus First Treatment is $210. A Clinical Treatment ($160) includes a deep cleanse, a mild peel or enzyme exfoliation, extractions, LED therapy, high frequency if needed and a hydrating finish. Total packages are $840 for the consultation-only option and $960 with a first treatment, both excluding skincare products. Half-packages may be possible, and treatments can be paid one at a time.

Facials are customized, with techniques, products and methods adjusted at each visit. The Strong Start Facial is for clients whose main concern is not acne and addresses signs of aging, discoloration, rough texture and reactive skin such as rosacea. The Maintenance Facial (60 minutes, $160) and the Ultimate Facial (90 minutes, $240) are for returning clients and include a booster or advanced modalities. The DMK Enzyme Therapy ($320) is a two-hour facial for returning clients who have first consulted with the studio, and it is not appropriate for clients with extreme anxiety or claustrophobia. The Back Facial ($130) is offered for back acne or general renewal and resurfacing. Brow services use hard wax and tweezing, with optional semi-permanent vegetable-based tinting for brows and lashes. Facial waxing with hard wax is available for the lip, chin, sideburns or full face, with cleansing and cooling products for sensitive skin. Makeup removal is included in every treatment.

Appointments are booked online through MangoMint, and a valid credit card on file is required to schedule. First-time clients submit a 50% deposit, and a first service is followed by an online intake form to complete before the visit. Rescheduling or cancelling with less than 24 hours notice incurs a fee of 50% of the booked service value, and a missed appointment without contact incurs 100%. Arriving more than 10 minutes late is treated as a late cancellation, or a no-show if not communicated before the start time. Clients who feel unwell may cancel without penalty and reschedule later, while clients arriving with illness symptoms are refused service. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian to drive them to the first visit and be present during the service. Payment is due at the end of the service by card, tap to pay, Zelle, Venmo or cash, and Venmo and Zelle must be completed before leaving the studio. Gratuity is not expected, and a 5-star Google review or a referral is appreciated instead. Hours are Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 7pm, and the studio is closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. For each service booked, the studio donates $1 to one of three charities: South Suburban Humane Society, Look Good Feel Better, or Sarah's Circle for Unhoused Women in Chicago.

The studio combines expert treatments, customized skincare and accountability, described as a holistic program that does not rely on prescription drugs. It says acne is a chronic condition that can be managed but not cured, and that it complements dermatologists rather than replacing them.
